Founder, Rodolfo De Benedetti, starts Compagnia Italiana Tubi Metallici Flessibili (Italian Company Metallic Flexible Hoses) as a licensed dealer of products under the Boa trademark.
1921
Production of flexible hoses for the Automotive and Aeronautical markets begins.
1947
Expansion joint production for petrochemical plants is added.
1964
New production facility is inaugurated in Turin, Italy with new sales offices to improve service and expand the business.
1968
Rodolfo De Benedetti turns Company leadership over to his son, Carlo De Benedetti.
1972
Compagnia Italiana Tubi Metallici Flessibili changes its name in Flexider.
1972
Carlo De Benedetti acquires the Gilardini Company, creating a new and powerful industrial group. Flexider becomes part of the Gilardini Group with the vision of becoming an industrial leader within its sector.
1975
Production of FCC expansion joints begins.
1976
Carlo De Benedetti sells Gilardini stock to the Fiat Group.
1980
1^st-Gen Flex Elements for Automotive Passenger Car Exhaust System start in production.
1985
2^nd-Gen Flex Elements for Automotive Passenger Car Exhaust System expand the product range.
1991
Anamet Inc., a USA corporation, buys Flexider stock.
1992
3^rd-Gen Flex Elements for Automotive Passenger Car and Light Commercial Vehicles are developed.
1999
FLEXIDER POLAND Sp. z o.o. Establishment – Automotive Operation start-up.
2002
Industrial Manufacturing Company International (IMCI) assumes control of Flexider.
2003
IMCI reorganizes Flexider creating Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial business units providing improved focus.
2005
FLEXIDER SOUTH AFRICA PTY LTD Establishment - Automotive Operation start-up.
2011

FLEXIDER (WUXI) BELLOWS CO., LTD. Establishment - Industrial Operation start-up.
2016
IMC/IMCI sells the Flexider Automotive Business Unit to Fleder Investments Hong Kong, Ltd in order to refocus on its Aerospace and Industrial Operations.
